WESTCLIFF: 17 year old charged with assault

A 17 year old boy from Benfleet will appear in court later this week over an assault in Westcliff.
The incident happened on 29th May on the London Road, when a 22 year old man from Southend suffered a severe abdominal injury.
The boy – who cannot be named for legal reasons – will appear at Southend Youth Court on Thursday (August 5th). He was charged by police last week (Wed 28).
