FIND THE FIFTY: Congratulations to our winners

Longpier.com is delighted to announce that Mum and son pair, Hayley and Cy Daly from Woodcutters Avenue in Leigh-on-Sea, have won our treasure hunt competition ‘Find the Fifty’.

They carefully pieced together our five clues over the week and turned up within minutes of the envelope being placed in the secret location.

The envelope – containing a special text – was found on one of the benches between the Old Leigh Buoy and Simply Seafood.

Cy, who’s just 14, was there within minutes of the last clue being posted online.

Hayley and Cy don’t know what they’ll do with the money yet, but Cy said:

“Thanks so much to Longpier.  I got a puncture in my bike tyre on the way down here, so the cash may go towards getting that fixed”.

Hayley said:

“It was a great competition.  We had located Leigh by Wednesday and then it was a matter of waiting for this final clue to be in the right place at the right time.  Thank you Longpier.com”.
