‘FIND THE FIFTY’: Tuesday’s clue

Tuesday August 3 2010 - Last Updated at 08:30

We’ve had a great response so far to our fun, yet challenging treasure hunt game ‘FIND THE FIFTY‘.  It’s your chance to win £50 CASH courtesy of Longpier.com.

Every day this week, we’re publishing clues as to the whereabouts of the special envelope.  It’ll be hidden somewhere in the borough of Southend on Friday morning.

Yesterday, we gave you cryptic clue number 1, and here’s today’s clue:

CLUE 2 – TUESDAY

If you thought the treasure may be in the east, you’d be wrong.
You have to look west to find this pot of gold.
It’s split into two and attracts a wide spectrum of people.
‘Cobble’ something together and narrow your search.

The third clue will be posted on the site before MIDDAY on Wednesday – so check back then. GOOD LUCK!!

Rules:

1. The envelope will not be hidden until 9.30am on Friday 6th August 2010, so don’t go looking before!
2. The envelope will contain a code – text that code to 07754 570194 (standard network text rates apply) and we’ll call to confirm you’re the winner.
3. Longpier.com and its staff is not responsible for injury or death
4. The winner will be announced on the site, as soon as the code has been verified.
5. No correspondence will be entered into, and the editor’s decision is final.
6. If the envelope isn’t found by 9pm on Sunday 8th August 2010, then we’ll give the money to the Peaceful Place charity, based in Southend
